Wilton Children's Theater is proud to provide Wilton's youth with theatrical experience since 1976. Involvement in Wilton Children's Theater benefits all who participate, including the cast, parent volunteers, and board members. Together, adults and children create a magical theatrical experience that is very satisfying and rewarding to all.
This highly original and theatrical Caribbean fairy tale garnered eight Tony nominations for its Broadway run, including Best Musical, Book and Score. In almost non-stop song and dance, the show tells the story of Ti Moune, a peasant girl who rescues and falls in love with Daniel, a wealthy boy from the other side of her island. When Daniel is returned to his people, the fantastical gods who rule the island guide Ti Moune on a quest to test the strength of her love against the powerful forces of prejudice, hatred and death.

Registration Forms will be available both on this website and in Comstock Community Center on March 22, 2010. Completed registration forms with a non refundable deposit check for $100 must be received by mail to our Wilton Post Office Box #100 no later than 5pm Friday, March 26th, 2010 to be eligible for lottery selection.

Introducing SummerStage Jr!
WCT is happy to announce an exciting new program for young theater enthusiasts during Summer 2010 - SummerStageJr!, in cooperation with The Wilton Playshop.
Split into two nine-day sessions, this new program seeks to expose those entering 3rd – 6th grades to stagecraft and help them to develop self confidence, poise and speaking skills that transcend the boundaries of the stage. SummerStageJr! Is being directed by Skip Ploss (aka Mr. Skip) and will be produced by Liz Salguero, Mary Susan Muirhead, Christina Colbert and Carole Kelleher.
Each of the two offered sessions will have a maximum of 25 children in the program, and will feature a “Revue” at the end of the session. One session may be enrolled in, or both. Each session is $325 per student, with a $100 deposit check which is non-refundable.
All balances due must be paid by May 15th. If the program is oversubscribed, a lottery will take place on Saturday March 27th, and you will be notified of the results by March 28th.
Session I: June 15 & 16, 1:30 – 4:30; June 17 – June 25th, 9:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., with a Revue at 7 p.m. on the 25th.
Session II: June 28 – July 9th (off on Monday, July 5th); 9:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m., with a Revue on Saturday, July 10th at 4 p.m.
