Wilton Children’s Theater (“WCT”) Refund Policy

Please take a few minutes and read this policy and submit acknowledgment at bottom.

In the event you must withdraw your child (hereinafter the “Participant”) from a show for which your child has registered, you may receive a partial refund as defined below:

  • $100 of the tuition is non refundable

  • All requests for a refund must be sent via email to the producers of the program in which  the participant was registered. Telephone messages will not be accepted.  The date of a  refund request shall be determined by the date the email was sent.

  • Refund requests must include the following information:

1. Participant’s name

2. Show for which Participant was registered

3. Person to whom the refund check should be issued

4. Address where refund check should be mailed

5. Reason for refund request

  • Fall Show - Refunds will be awarded if the request is made no later than 48 hours of the  Participant’s notification via email from the producers that the participant has been  selected for the Fall show and only if WCT can replace the withdrawing participant with a  person from the Fall show waitlist, if any.

  • Winter Show – Refunds will be awarded if the request is made at least 5 business days  prior to the first day of the Winter Show’s audition and only if WCT can replace the  withdrawing participant with a person from the Winter Show’s waitlist, if any.

  • Summerstage and Summerstage Jr! - Refunds will be awarded if the request is made at  least 5 business days prior to the first day of auditions and only if WCT can replace the  withdrawing participant with a person from the Summerstage or Summerstage Jr! Waitlist, if any.   If there is no waitlist and a Participant withdraws at least 10 business days prior to the start  of auditions, WCT may offer a credit toward a future show’s registration fee of all but $100 of the original fee.  The credit could be applied toward any child within that family for one year. If the family does not elect to register for future shows or the child is not  selected via the lottery, the funds will not be refunded.

  • Refund requests due to illness or accident, prior to the first day of the Fall and Winter  Show’s audition will be awarded upon a physician’s written verification.

  • Refund requests due to illness or accident, prior to the first day of the show’s auditions for  Summerstage and Summerstage Jr! will be awarded upon a physician’s written verification.

  • No refunds will be awarded to Participants who are “no shows” on the first day of the Fall  and Winter Show’s audition or “no shows” on the first day of the start of the program for  Summerstage and Summerstage Jr!

  • No refunds will be awarded after the first day of the Fall and Winter Show’s audition or  after the first day of the start of the program for Summerstage and Summerstage Jr!

  • This refund policy will be strictly enforced regardless of the reason for withdrawal.
